Jerusalem (Old City)/Bethlehem

Drive to Bethlehem and visit the Church of Nativity, the cradle of Christianity.

Jerusalem (New City) Israel Museum/Yad Vashem/Ein Karem

Visit the Shrine of the Book at the Israel Museum where the Dead Sea Scrolls are displayed. View the Knesset (the parliament building), the Menorah and the Supreme Court. Visit Mount Herzl and Yitzhak Rabin's grave. Continue to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust Memorial. On to Ein Karem, the birthplace of St. John the Baptist. View the new City Hall and Montefiore's Windmill in Yemin Moshe - the first suburb built outside of the walls of Jerusalem.


Mt. of Olives/Old City of Jerusalem

Enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the Old City from Mount of Olives, walk down hill through the cemetery and by the churches of Dominus Flevit and Maria Magdalene. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations in the Kidron Valley. Walk along the Garden Promenade. Enter the Old City and walk the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. End the day walking through the colorful Middle Eastern markets. If time allows, visit the Western (Wailing) Wall.

Safari to the Judean Desert/Jericho/Wadi Kelt

Drive to the Judean Wilderness on the dirt roads of the Judean Desert. As you drive through the Bedouin territories of the Gihalin tribe, see the most amazing sight of the 1,500-year-old functioning Marsaba Monastery carved in the cliffs. Enjoy a picnic lunch served next to the beautiful Mamluk building of Nebi Musa.
Drive to Jericho, the oasis of the Judean Desert and a 10,000-year-old town. Return to Jerusalem on the ancient Roman road along Wadi Kelt to get the fascinating view of St. George Monastery.
