Day 1 Jerash/Amman
Drive from Tel Aviv/Jerusalem to the border crossing point. After border formalities enter Jordan. Drive to Jerash - best preserved Roman city of the Decapolis, located in the fertile heights of Gilead, north of Amman. Visit this ancient Roman city with the colonnaded streets, the baths and the theater. Continue to Amman for overnight.

Day 2 Amman/Madaba/ Mount Nebo
After an early breakfast, drive to Madaba to see the most ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land. Continue to Mount Nebo, from which Moses viewed the Promised Land, then died and was buried here. Take in the magnificent view of the Dead Sea, Jericho and the Jordan Valley. Visit the remains of the Byzantine church commemorating these Biblical events, including a fine decorated mosaic floor. Continue south on the King's Highway to Wadi Musa. Arrive Petra for overnight.

Day 3 Petra/Allenby
In the morning visit Petra, also known as the "Rose City". Walk through the "Siq" (canyon) into the hidden valley to discover one of the seven wonders of the world, a city carved in the rocks. This was the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AD Visit the most interesting monuments; the Treasury, El Khazneh (a tomb of a Nabatean king) , the Field of Tombs, the Obelisks and the Altar. Drive to Allenby Bridge and cross into Israel.
Drive to your hotel in Jerusalem or Tel Aviv (or to the airport for your flight back home).
