Durante los últimos 2 años hemos estado  esperando este momento. No hemos dejado de extrañarlos ni tampoco hemos perdido la esperanza. Y ahora, gracias a Dios podemos recibirles y servirles en nuestro bello país.

El COVID ha cambiado al mundo, así como la forma de viajar. Sin embargo, hoy podemos viajar, ver el país y visitar los lugares santos!

El mundo aprenderá a vivir junto al COVID y así mismo con las nuevas regulaciones. Viviremos en un “nuevo normal”, pero podremos VIAJAR!!! Halleluyah.

Así que, pongamos la carroza en marcha con dirección a Israel. Empecemos a planear el viaje a la Tierra del Señor. Estamos ansiosos y muy contentos de servirles igual que en el pasado. Les prometemos una experiencia única y extraordinaria, así como una elevación espiritual, que recordarán toda la vida.

Ilana Goor is one of the most famous artists in Israel. Born in 1936, in Tiberias. Though she did not go to any art school, she became an international artist being autodidactic as well as very individualistic. She developed a unique approach to art that can be clealy seen in all her works. At the age of 83, she is still active in the same way she was at the age of 38.
Being a compalsive collectionist of art from different countries in the world, she turned her home into a museum, which is for years, open to the public.
Thousands of creative sculptures, paintings and ethnic works are filling every corner of the 4 stories building built hundreds of years ago. Located in the heart of Old Jaffa, overlooking the Mediteranean Sea, makes it a real jem, a “must visit” !

The Port of Jaffa was the main and most ancient Gate to Israel. Today, Jaffa is a suburb of Tel Aviv, overlooking the big city and its shore-line. Jaffa is mentioned in the Bible with prophet Johnas (and the whaile) as well as with Peter, the loyal deciple of Jesus. Saint Peter Church, commemorates the dream Peter had, seeing God telling him to eat also the unclean animals. This was interpreted by him that he can spread the message of Christianity also between the Gentiles. The church is located by the Kedumim Square, a beautiful stone paved plaza, attracting many artists to exhibit their work every weekend.

The yard is decorated by sculptures of the most important Jewish figures from the 12-13 centuries, Maimonides, Judah Halevi and more. The exhibition in the museom is of famous Biblical events painted by different artists along the generations. Fascinating exhibition.

A visit to Caesarea is not only visiting the ancient Roman and Crusaders’ ruins. Just a step away from the archaeological site, is one of the outstanding Ralli Museums, Ralli 1, one of the five Ralli museums, also found in Spain, Uruguay and Chile. The Ralli Museums were founded by the Harry Recanati Foundation.

A real surprise is waiting for you behind the door!

Mr. Recanati has donated his enormous private art collection to the Recanati foundation that also keeps the museum operating. One of the few only museums in Israel, with free entrance. The museum holds an important collection of contemporary Latin American art. One of its permanent exhibitions includes 41 Salvador Dali’s sculptures. On the upper floor, the glass door will lead you to the open terrace with beautiful and impressive large bronze statues.

On our way home we stopped at the house of an old friend, Miki, who is proud on his coffee mills collection, probably the largest collection of its type in Israel. A real museum inside his home. Miki enjoyed showing us around giving us an explanation on some of the rare pieces in his fascinating collection.

We will continue in our next blog and will visit the nearby Ralli 2 museum.
